Hi Gurus,

I am a layman when it comes to car so just want to gather more opinions.

My budget, physique and driving habit prompts me to opt for these CUV.

I personally dont think there is a need to discuss the appearance of the car because one mans meat is another's poison.

So more cross examination about the above cars. :)

My summary:

Vezel - technology, reliable, conformant

Vitara - unique, trendsetter, fun

CHR - efficient, practical,

Now that I've made my point, why not you start the ball rolling by sharing with us your insights and perhaps share more on What you are looking for in a car.

Which is a showstopper for you and what realm matters most?

Here are a few topics:

- Fuel efficiency

- looks (you mention subjective)

- operating and maintenance cost

- power and technology

- interior size

- boot size

- price and value

I hope expect you don't go MIA and just sit back and watch the thread grow.

Haha. Just the opposite, Im stalking the thread.

Fuel: 18km/L<

Boot space: Not major concern but must be able to load a few luggage la.

Interior size: Preferably higher car as I have abnormally long legs and long hours in sedan just doesnt feel comfy since I may be driving up North.

Reliability is a major factor for me.

I have faith in Japan brand and MIJ car is a plus

Vezel X: MIJ

Vitara : Hungary

T CH-R : ?

I think all 3 looks awesome to me and are Japan brand with great fuel efficiency.

And its all CUV so Im really stuck. Too bad pocket doesn't permits 3. Haha.

Would really like to compare the specs and features.

I'm rather surprised that the new Vitara is so small now compared to the previous incarnations. As for its looks, no comment.

Agree generally long legs not a problem unless u r 1.9m tall, wc headroom becomes a concern. Have a fren who only can drive suv / mov due to longer upper half body. Now he chg to Coe picnic.

I am 1.92m tall and didnt had a problem driving 17hrs continuously from SG to Phuket in a 1.6L Nissan Sunny. [drivingcar]

Back to topic, the CHR looks great but rear passenger headroom will be a problem.

Hi all.

Im 1.8m as but I have a short body.

When I sit down, my height is about the same as my 1.5m fiance. :( deformed. Haha.

Because of this, when I drive my Dad's Mazda 3 for 8 hours straight, it was nightmare as I have to continuously prop my body up. Both my legs and body was aching the day after.

Based on what I read from the net, Toyota should be bringing in the CHR on Jan 2017.

The model ia already in their website but not available for booking yet.
