Twincharged

Me trying to chase the crane. Never realise too low and went into the grass. The crane must be laughing at me. No damage. Picked up and fly again.

I bought one recently but it is so difficult to control. Any recommendations? Not to expensive I hope.

Although I do not recommend to shoot a video entirely 100% out of a drone / aerial view.

However some creativity can be injected to your drone footage by flying close to subject, or exceedingly low height such as knee or waist level.

The gimbal helps to stabilize your footage as you orbit around your subject.

Tips : break the stigma that drones has to fly high. This is not true. There are many ways you can think of when using your drone to video subject. You can even use it as a hand held gimbal without actually flying it.

Part of this video is handheld.

This great example of a video is shot entirely from a DJI.

Enjoy !

I have always wanted to pick up a reliable drone for offshore filming but often find myself being discouraged by the difference in port entry regulations in different countries. I was actually reading some drone groups and forums where members faced different situations when bringing in drones.

I am still procrastinating today.

And we flew it again on a really windy condition.
Surprisingly the Spark held its video pretty well despite me seeing it wobbling here and there with those gusty wind.
It was tilting on its sides during stationary hovering and the gimbal did help stabilized the video recording very very well.
I had not required any after-post editor to stabilize raw footage from the Spark either.
Very good "investment" .

Those who had difficult with OTG on their Spark, or whichever model from DJI that allows OTG connection, here is the ultimate true test done few days back.

And to those who are uncertain if OTG is good, well, lets say it is better video streaming quality.

Do give it a try because OTG cables and adapters are cheap.
