Basic trim for 89k?! :o

Yep. Make no mistake about it. Elegance trim cost about 6k more

why all the shock comments? suppose to be lower?

There are better cars at this price range. That's why you have people feeling shocked

will you be able to share, what are those?

Went for Hyundai avante, Kia Cerato, Citroen C3 and many others.

None of the OMV are higher than this.

11.5 is the new facelift for models after 2017. 1 bid is really fast.

Altis standard is 19k and elegance is 22 from my understanding.

Yes, 22k it is. Bro, the DRL is 2 straight lines or 'cat eyes' type? I find the latter more sexy.

22k OMV

Impressive.. I think the Elantra starts from about 50% of that..

Elantra no fight in terms of reliability. And the brand Toyota enables it to command a premium price

The price also at least 20k difference between the basic avante and standard altis. Esp base on when avante basic was selling around 70k. No wonder the OMV can difference so much?!  [rolleyes]

Noticed that the passenger mirror unfold faster than the driver's side mirror. Is it supposed to be like that?

I not sure if it is faster, never take notice.

But mine the passenger side will reach the position first then driver side.

Turbocharged

did anybody recently ( 2 weeks ago ) book an altis and was told the rebate level is zero?

Non-guaranteed coe package. Is this a common trend in the market?

did u trade in the current Sunny? so the 'parf' is lost but can get back the outstanding coe?

Finally succumbed to CO's constant nagging and due to the niggling wear and tear problem my 11 years old Sunny is showing of late. I have booked a Corolla Altis today, taking delivery around May.

I traded in my Sunny for $2k. I renewed my COE 10 years, omv or whatever parf are gone. So if I scrap I may just get $50? and the unused part of the $42,500 I paid to renew which comes to about $35k this May.

I can accept that altis being sold a higher price because of higher OMv, but zero rebate is outright con job and is explpoiting customers loyalty to the extreme. I know chances of getting rebate is low but to make rebate at zero is insulting customer's intelligence and a show of greed . Edited by Ct3833

Good to know that there's nothing wrong with the car. For my previous car, both side mirrors unfold at the same speed
