Neutral Newbie

think about it this way, you already get a lower car price due to the $10k VES rebate, so your upfront downpayment and loan amount/monthly installment also less... later when you resell, the paper value will just be lower accordingly too.

overall if you work out the figures, you'll still pay less over time compared to if there was no rebates.

i guess its really up to individual preference... but personally i find that the front design with new cascading grill and vents looks nice on the i30, gives it a sporty look.

with most new car designs, it takes time for people to eventually get used to it..

Finally saw a new i30 on the road. Looks slightly bigger than the earlier version.

What is the (real) FC of this 1.4T ? What is the depreciation of Elantra vs i30?

Only clock 130 km at the start of a full tank... bro... you just drive highway is it? Ha ha ha... what's the consumption like after a whole tank? Total mileage divided by number of litres pumped in?

Need to verify with this FC figure.
the "Average FC" reading will reset once you pump full tank by default.

I see that you just pump to full and this reading might be just few km running after the petrol station. not reflected the real figure.

Unless you have change the setting before.

Mind to share? by few km after pumping i got 20+ too. haha!

honestly lah, you buy a hyundai, just try to stick with it for at least 8 years.

The resale value will be damn crappy one. If u buy one, just like it enough so that you won't want to change car after 3-5 years.

I think the i30 wagon proportion just looks much better.

@Friendstar, Not a real fan of the front grille.

Hi all, new to this forum. Recently made a purchase of an i30 about a month back in end March. Was told that stock was expected to be coming in in mid April to late April. This however was delayed till mid May due to the shipment being different from what was expected.

Anyone else having this experience?

There were some buyers in the i30 owners FB group that also received the same notice of a delay. A shipment arrived last week and I guess the next is in a month's time. Think some colours are in high demand.

Before after 1000 km service seem like not much difference.

Before is 13-14 km/L; Now after 1000km  service is 13km/L (just 1 day now)

My best is 15.8km/L for 30km back from working around 6pm. City to North.   [thumbsup]

For those who traded in their stock rims & tyres, what is the price you have gotten for them?

Have the intention to change to 17".
