With the reported expected heavy rain in August, this leaking sunroof issue can be a terrible car ownership problem..

Wonder has the repair or warranty be applied without cost?
I think for a new car if less than 1 year and made by Skoda, they owe the owner a good explanation.🤔

Just got the seals replaced not long ago because its is rusted, hopefully it solves the issue. Still monitoring at the moment.

From skoda fb they mention one full tank can get 800Km for 1.4L kodiaq.

thats about 11-13km/l is possible

for 2.0L my skoda superb about 10-11km/l with 60% highway. Believe kodiaq 2.0L can get ard 10 too

A pity that Skoda didn't adopt the shift-by-wire technology that debut on the new Octavia on the Kodiaq facelift.

New tech must wait for new Kodiaq.

While the VRS specs are mouth-watering, it will attract a $25K VES surcharge, which shall price it out of market (potentially in the same range as the Q5, X3, GLC, XC60, etc.) when launch here.

The more sensible option would be the 190ps / 320Nm 2.0 TSI unit with 7 speed wet clutch DSG and 4x4 setup, which now take 7.7 seconds to hit 100Km/h and can attain a top speed of 215Km/h (0.5 seconds faster and 10Km/h higher than the pre-facelift model).

If the price is right when it hit our shore next year, this might be the one for me... [:)]

Facelift Kodiaq launching soon (likely to be in April)! SCS will be introducing a total of 5 variants here, namely

  • Ambition 1.5 TSI
  • Sport line 1.5 TSI
  • Style 2.0 TSI 4x4
  • Laurin & Klement 2.0 TSI 4x4
  • VRS 2.0 TSI 4x4

The pleasant surprise here is that the facelift 2.0 variant, while has 10 horsepower more than the outgoing model, will be VES neutral, meaning a direct saving of up to $15K.

The high performance vRS (245ps / 370Nm / 6.6 sec / 233 Km/h) is in band C1 ($15K surcharge) instead of my initial guess of band C2 ($25K surcharge)!

But that will be just for a short few months as the revised VES scheme is likely to push the VES upward by Jan next year. *Sigh* If only COE can soften to a saint level...

Nice!! 2L versions except vrs will be VES B. Too bad it’s coming in when the COE is so high. 😢
