Go in when the price is comfortable. 2017 COE quota will be lesser than 2016. Global economy is weak but doesnt look like crashing soon and US is currently doing very well.

The US' expected economic revival will pull up Singapore's export market and the rest of the world's.

With the evolving Trumponomics, there will be a default shift away from China as the world's economic and manufacturing / export centre

Seems that Mazda is clearing stock for new model.Still find the "Shen Zhu Pai" on the dashboard looks odd. Hope the new model go away with it.At least make it foldable.

CAT A will go up...

Especially OPEL Astra, selling like hot cake now.

Not surprise, according to Strait Times last saturday, it is Singaporean's Favourite Car in 2016.

This won't translate to actual sales, or market share split lah!

I see very little evidence that we choose our top cars on the same scale as the poll.

And I am sure Volvo will be please with the top selection, but in reality, people talk about reliability, space and amount of accessories / specs more than handling, ride or power.

That's why putting too much into magazines like Top Gear or What Car isn't very useful for real Singapore drivers.

And for the same reason, why the Corolla still features in any top ten sellers list.

Few features that can break down, very reliable and economical to run.

You are resourceful indeed bro.

Honda and Toyota are clear winners obviously.

Anyway, my personal guess for COE 1st round Jan 2017 shall be at least minus -$2k from previous round for both CAT A & B.

1) Potential car buyers waiting for coming Motor Show.

2) Buyers hold back after last COE price increase.

3) The need to purchase before CNY has ceased.

Not mentioning the current economic slowdown.
