Ugly. Vs the BMW n merc

I think it looks more modern than both of them. It's not pretty but it looks more bold and modern. Kinda like the look.

Console looks nice but guess the merc still looks more luxurious

Front licence plate put on the grill.?So ugly. [bigcry]

Also using a V6.?Refinement won't be as good as V8.

Good Observation  man! , surprisingly the license plate will look like a sore thumb on it ; even sides also don't have space/ provision for it too

Nowadays Lexus seems downing its "V" ; Even ES now is V4 compared to the old one which was V6

Turbocharged

Looks like LHL will have to downgrade to a 3.5L engine when he makes his way into the Stadium during NDP liao.

Its a pity they downsized the engine but I guess they have no choice but to follow the footsteps of 7 series and S Class which has gone down to 3 litres . The emissions tax would have killed its sales .

Would be interesting to see whether the new 3.5L biturbo will find its way into the GS and RX .

But the TT3.5 V6 LS500 is as fast if not faster than the V8 750i or Mercedes S500.

And historically Lexus engine refinement has always been better than the Germans.

So both performance and refinement should be competitive despite the downsizing of cylinders.
