Life is short. Why wait 5 years.

Can we guarantee we will be here even next year.

If she is changing and the car is in good condition let us know here.

We are all car lovers here and can help find a good home for her prelove car.

Must see where you go with kids, if go ECP and some parks, better to drive. But if go airport or sentosa, take public transport better.

She will not be looking to change car now coz when she spoke to the car salesperson recently when i got me new car, they told her not to change even with the low COE. It is just not worth it, so definitely will stick to the 5 year plan. [:p]

According to the salesperson, even though the car was bought at the time when COE is double of what current COE is. It is still not worth changing, coz firstly no buyer will be willing to pay a price that is close to a new car price. So u wun get a good price even if u decide to sell.

Secondly it is only advisable to consider changing car when COE is low if ur car is heavily utilize maybe like 30k upwards a year. As chances of car problems popping up thereafter is quite high due to the high mileage.

Car is paid full in cash. We dun like to take loan. Buy what u can afford only [:p]

truly depending on the brand and model.

Most workshops who specialist in one brand would probably work out the kinks and you have quite a reliable ride on year 4 onwards,

Most contis goes for many hundred of thousands of KM without much drama.

I know some would point the finger at the french or british and ask me to proof it. Granted that those are rather problematic and should be steer clear of. But once you have a workshop who knows enough to upgrade those parts, you good to go.

Thoses that have are the itchy fingers type that anyhow mod and kaboom the engine and trans usually have a shorter lifespan
