ChristopherChia 4th Gear February 25, 2017 Share February 25, 2017 Hi guys I'm doing a little research for my next ride. Thinking of changing the rims and keeping the tires to maintain the comfort and cost down. The dimensions (gathered from internet) for the Forester FNA rims and tires are as follows: Tire 225/60R 17 Rim 7J x 17 ET48 PCD 5 x100 Center Bore 56.1mm Any recommendations or advice on the rims and shops? And what's the average cost per rim? Thanks a lot! ↡ Advertisement

I'm not sure how you can maintain the comfort by changing the rims and keeping the tyres. Why not keep the rim and instead change the tyres to comfort ones? Why not keep the rim and instead change the tyres to comfort ones?I was trying to say to maintain the comfort by not increasing the rims to 18" as in doing so, I would have to use lower profile tyres. I just want a set of nicer looking rims without changing the original sizes of tires and rims. The original rim size may not be common, hence, trying to see if any shops carry them. Hi bro, 17" rims is plently in Singapore market. You can always source in another tyres shop. Remember to get a good/reputable rims to minimise any defects in future.
