Fulham won promotion to the EPL by beating Aston Villa 1-0 at Wembley. This is the richest match in football as the winners will enjoy at least £170 million according to estimates by making the step up.

Ryan Sessegnon who was tipped to move to a bigger club shld Fulham not gain promotion set up Tom Cairney for the winner. The Londoners played with only 10men for the last 20mins of the game with Odoi red carded.

Marco Silva appointed Everton boss. He was the original Toffees target but Watford refused to release him last season n later on sacked him. Silva has taken several months to reach Goodison but I guess it’s better late than never!
