The dark horses are

a)  Newcastle

b)  West Ham

c)  Southampton

:wut:

West Ham chances are better as they spend the most in new players so far. :slow:

Won't be easy, if it's really true that the chairman played the manager out, and the manager might walk...

if that's the case, they might end up at the wrong end even...

Well a win is a win despite the chaos n it's 3 pts in the bag for a good start which is so important these days as u don't want to play catch up n with new signing Lacazette getting on the score sheet so well done n congrats! Edited by Spring

Let us see Liverpool tonight at 7.30 pm.  :slow:

Will PC saga disorientate the performance tonight against Watford.

The rest of the top 5 teams having easier opponents.  :ignoring:

So for the top teams, there are points out there to collect.  :yeah-im-not-drunk:

Too tired for me and I didn't watch it live. Just saw the highlights and all the goals not bad.

Last season gunners first match lost 3-4 at home. This season first match won 4-3 at home. Any gunners fans fancy go queue 4D for 3443 or 4334 or other permutation?

Not sure the highlights was accurate, but it showed Leicester pressing near gunners penalty box, resulting in vardy's first goal. So Leicester no longer counter-attack team?

Pool's starting XI vs Watford: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Matip, Moreno, Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Salah, Mané, Firmino

Nice to see Moreno back. Deserves the start based on preseason imo. Hopefully he can show his maturity and grab the chance given.

Forget about Coutinho, let's cheer for those who are here fighting for the shirt!!

Very poor showing from Pool. Credit must go to Watford. Very aggressive in their play and direct. First goal is the usual poor set piece marking, nothing much to say. Second goal conceded is really a poor defensive shape taken defending that throw in.

With no Coutinho, no one to pull the strings in midfield. Pool look very very soft in the centre of the park. Offensive build up is too rash, no point keep going long if Salah or Mane are not going to get through. The equaliser came from a patient build up.

Can Pool turn it round in the second half? They really have to be more incisive in their passing. Keep in on the ground and look for openings.

Oh ya, Salah trying too hard to impress. Affecting his decision making

Again, conceded from set piece to throw away 2 points.

Pool scored 2 very nice goals, worthy to win this match. But defending again cost Pool.

Pool have enough chances to kill off the game but didn't take them. Haiz

Always rate Marco Silva, I think Watford will do well under him.

It's an understatement to say pool could do well without couti.
