Cos the big ones are commercial grade. They can still blend even though there's lots of stuff inside. Motor won't overheat so easily etc. Essentially that's what you are paying for. Costed close to S$200 back then. pretty loud noise though. No warranty for china set. Recently gotten a replacement locally. 300 plus with local warranty.
