Friendstar Supercharged September 16, 2017 Share September 16, 2017 In Singapore. Stealing a car is extremely tough. Look at the number of cameras and tracking gantries. Even at ICA, u can be traced And it's merely a honda civic which omv is like 20+k? ↡ Advertisement
flashbang Turbocharged September 16, 2017 Share September 16, 2017 Also, who knows if that photo is really his car? Or is he trying to get people to help him hunt someone down? Not that I want to be skeptical but this is the internet after all. Hard to verify what people say.

alex976 5th Gear September 16, 2017 Share September 16, 2017 IMO, for a modern car with immobilizer n stuff to get stolen is pretty weird. All we can help is to see if we spot the stolen car while driving.
flashbang Turbocharged September 16, 2017 Share September 16, 2017 If it was really stolen, can he claim anything from insurance? Of course, not to mention this car look like less than 12 months old. If you have the right insurance, they will do a 1 for 1 replacement with a brand new car.

Ingenius Turbocharged September 16, 2017 Share September 16, 2017 (edited) My BIL's one year old Honda Civic Type R was stolen years ago, when parked overnight at a HDB car park. The insurance compensated him after about half a year later. I guess it must be Malaysia syndicate as it is impossible to keep a stolen car in Singapore as what was mentioned the IU will be detected everywhere. Every time they pass a gantry and don't pay the owner will get a photo and a fine and he will know exactly where his car was.
