Please confirm this is the Z model... It's the one I am importing.

Yes Z version PI dont want to import because the CEV rebate is at the $15,000 instead of $30,000 band. Heard a few got hit at $10,000 (but low probability).

 

If you read the Honda catalog on the Japanese website, its CO2 falls into the $15,000 rebate level.

 

It has the lowest on paper manufacturer spec of FC of 23.4km/l of all the 2WD Hybrid Vezel.

Old version, you won't have all the bells and whistles. Honda sensing, adaptive cruise control, blind spot assist, lane watch, etc.

 

LI-Ion battery also has a limited shelf life, regardless of usage. Not good if its already 2 or 3 years old.

 

Also the silverish / metallic item beneath the bumper appears to be done after market.

 

Is that a preowned version you got?

Yes it's a pre owned doing about 6000km. They don't sell them new where i'm from.

Likely you got the S- Version if it has paddle shifters. Those were sold here in 2014 - 2015.

 

Hope you got it from Japan direct.

 

Outside Japan, eg in India, Pakistan, etc, there is a very strong likelihood they mess with the odometer.

In Japan, they are extremely honest. It's in the culture. Low mileage is the norm there as people hardly drive their cars.

I mentioned to a friend that i would be importing a vezel soon and he mentioned that i would need to service the drivetrain ever so often.

 

What is he talking about? Or is he talking nonsense?

Anyone change the fan belt of vezel??...i heard from workshop that belt quality is different from normal one as the start stop function require better quality belt

Still so many workshops trying to scam....

 

The fan / alternator belt for most if not all Japanese cars sell for $30 to $49 the last time i checked.

 

HAve changed for my Lexus RX 300 and Honda Odyssey. Both times paid about $40 for belt (bought in Singapore) and 15 ringgit for labour as did it in Msia

but after signing, i took a look and found the loan amount has been jacked up

from $100K+ (car price) to $160K.  when questioned, they say "Its Like That"

 

smelling something fishy i tried to get my depo back but was refused.

Yes...is a scam. The interest will amount to thousand.

 

No recourse unless has black and white buyer agreement which stated your initial agreed price.

 

Something don't add up here. You didn't read the dollar breakdown before signing?

 

If really a scam you can publish the PI name here and the SE
