No signs of that happening. Just the easing of some restrictions and quarantine period but not living-with-covid like rest of the world.

They found out this "epidemic control" is a great way to track and control people, hard to give this up.

Very good video to watch. 

But I think one main reason for the wolf warrior diplomacy is to to use such statements and stance to harness internal nationalistic pride.

This is able to give u a strong force within the country to control domestic politics ie the red guards all over again. 

Its probably linked to xi trying to control the ccp and sideline other factions who are more moderate. 

It can be fire sometimes, but it's usually what nationalistic politics are trying to achieve. Same as Hitler who was a nobody until he became  a nationalistic firebrand.
