Compared with the new models, looks like the out going Octavia was a very good deal.

Am quite impressed with the level of specification offered.

For the Kamiq, it's very well positioned against the T-cross cousin - similar pricing but kamiq having 1.5t over 1.0t option.

For the scala, since it's a city car - am quite puzzled why SCS didn't bring in 1.0t option like the Ibiza/Polo cousins. As a result it cost the most out of the 3 models.

From what I found out, the OMV is close to the outgoing Octavia. If that's the case, the cost of OMV + ARF + Duty + COE + GST alone is around $90k. And they have 3 years free servicing and 5 years warranty and solar film and stuff and with their overheads, and you expect $90k to $100k seems like fat hope to me.

I also recalled somewhere the Golf was selling at 100k lowest and it's a cat A model with lower horsepower and older model too.

So the Scala Ambition's OMV is around the Octavia Ambition's, which is abt $18.5K ?

@AriesGoat can share the Scala Ambition OMV? I think it's between $19-$20k right? I think it's important cus people need to know can take 60% or 70% loan
