Mind sharing how much was the recent price ?

Are you able to register by 31st Dec (ready stock ?) or your price already factored in the upcoming CEVS ?

Lastly, just to check, what were your consideration(s) behind your choice with X-trail over Qashqai ?

Thanks

$152,300 Guaranteed

Ready stock.

I wanted a SUV. My wife wanted a 7 seater. For the price delta, it was a no brainer

For clarity the price delta was about $7,000. The Qashqai had more tech stuff and the more space more mature drive

I guess the above are very raw (before discount price).

For REG within 2017 should entitle $10K discount, in house insurance $500, in house finance $2K, trade in $2000.

So total discount $14.5K --> Effective price -> $137,800 instead

Best get TS to confirm, and that would mean this car is one of those get impacted by VES badly.

Missed out the word X-Trail. Should read as “The Qashqai had more tech stuff and the X-Trail has more space more mature drive”

I'm assumed you got your COE from the recent 6th Dec exercise and with ready stock, it should be pretty fast.

They should be making an appointment with you for the remaining downpayment and probably a week for them to register and install the necessary accessories.

Which colour are you getting ?

I was at TC Leng Kee just now to check out the new X-Trail. Overall the car looks good with added features like foot sensor for the tail gate, the best feature that I like will be the enabling and disabling of The Central lock. How it works is that is a switch below the steering wheel, when central locking is switch off, the door will only unlock driver’s door when you push the remote. By pressiing another time then the rest of the doors will be unlocked. This is good if you traveled into jb alone often like me. This feature can prevent unlawful entry when you unlock the car. Space wise it sits 5 adults comfortably but the third rolls in my opinion is non existence. Comparing to the boot space, it’s smaller than the Harrier which is a bit disappointing for me as I play golf so putting 4 golf bags may need some skills to ensure that the golf bags sit nicely. Nevertheless overall it’s a good car for a family and it’s cheaper with all the good features.

Good to know this. I will ask my SE to explain when I collect my car tomorrow.
