Actually should watch the Olympus scandal and understand the Japan corperate culture and protectionism that got a lot of their big companies sinking.

Which somehow brings me to wonder whether something similar happen to Singapore's TH when Goodyear was hired as CEO(2009) and quit suddenly. For fear of repercussion he didn't whistleblow....just ran...asap. I can only guess.

agree... many of the old established companies especially in Japan and Korea were resistant to change and wanted to stick to their current culture but in the end lost out to newer and/or more innovative companies who were more open to change...
