Didnt know punggol estate so long liao, 2005 already existed?! I always thought punggol very new since there are still so many new BTOs being built. If the station remained shut for 12 years without any maintenance, think many things in the station should be spoilt liao.

Later got signal fault, track fault, loose nuts and bolts, yards yada yada...

Since it make sense to build the station first even if no development yet.  Can't possibly cut the LRT track to put a station when development are up.  That area had planned for a regional sport hub (opposite SAFRA) and with the JTC digital and cyber security industries and STI campus coming up in the plan.  Is just a matter of time it will be opened.

If you noticed, it's the only place where Punggol is spelt Ponggol.

The newest development is around Samudera LRT and Northshore Dr and Punggol Way.

This station is right in the middle of the planned SIT campus under the master plan.  So once SIT is completed, it will be used.

LRT might be scrapped by then... like what they said for the PP LRT>

Wonder why they did not develop the surrounding area at this station? At least build some flats there?

Slowly lah.

Later oversupply like late 1990s.

150k can get 4rm already

is this house haunted?

Where got haunted

It is a house of love and labour

Imagine in its days, the little children playing in the garden

The boss Lim Kopi in the rocking chair

The maids and plantation workers toiling
