Dont rent car and park in cbd. The parking fee is no joke like more ex than MBS. Theres CAT buses to travel ard city. Car useful when u go outskirt. Find a hotel with cheap or free parking. Most hotel charged a premium for parking e.g my hotel charged $30 a day.

 

Meal wise can get $10 per meal but if want cheaper can go hungry jack or mcd.

Food and parking are very expensive there (as compared to singapore)

Parking can cost AUD 20 per hour and one main dish is usually about AUD 20 in decent places.. 

 

If one is dwelling in the city, taking the public transportation would be preferred.

Go supermarket and buy meat pies and go market and buy food and cook yourself.

 

Fruit and veg is not ex and if you have family that only eat chinese food you can have it everyday.
