Paging @Carbon82 to start new thread for 2nd bidding for Feb 2018.

Just realised that tender starts this Wednesday and ends this Friday.

And Budget 2018 is on today.

Hmmm ...

Oops ... my bad.

I went to check and saw the dates wrongly ... the dates were meant for 2017.

 

Sorry sorry. Will check properly next time. No intention to mislead or stir controversy.

This year won't have car related changes.

 

Last year they move to Wed to fri when budget on Mon.

 

This year budget on Mon but no chg to coe date.

I think you are right.

The govt will give hints and a chance for you to act.

Must always open eyes big big to see and read in between the lines.

Usually when they want to raise existing tax or impose new tax, there will be some hints from the ministers.

Like e-commerce tax, GST etc.

Property cooling measures will give hints and will be swift (immediate) to implement.

Vehicles related measures usually implement a few months after formal announcement to let ADs have time to adjust.
