Did an overnight transit via changi recently. Instead of going home to sleep, thot I'd try out the T2 Ambassador Transit hotel. Booked a basic single room. It's small but quite comfy. No ensuite toilet but the self-contained toilets are actually better than SQ Silverkris lounge toilets. Quite impressed with the overall experience

Krisflyer lounge at Perth airport. The interior so dull that it doesn't deserve any bandwidth....lol

I have a 6 hr transit in perth. Taking off 1 am....

Any suggestions? Econ class only.

Excellent bro. When u fly back from Frankfurt, go to the Air Canada Maple Tree lounge for the food coz the Lufthansa Senator Lounge food suxs. The onli redeeming feature are the excellent shower facilities. AC lounge iirc onli hv 1 or 2.

Tried the Air Canada lounge in Frankfurt last October.

Arrived at 10 pm ish.

No food available and lounge closing.

Anyway was back in Franfurt on my way from Singapore to UK.

Only short stopover just enough time to eat some bacon and baked beans for breakfast in Maple Leaf lounge..

Average.

Haven't departed via SFO b4. If u hv a chance to fly via LAX, the Star Alliance lounge at TBIT is surprisingly good (given the super low standards of US lounges) incl decent showers

China Eastern airlines lounge at Shanghai Pudong airport. Used Priority Pass to enter.

Only problem is lounge is not enclosed area. Gate are one floor below and all boarding announcement can be very noisy.

Is better than the Air China lounge where SQ is using.

They treat kris Gold folks very well here in PVG

even for economy passengers you get express VIP security check and lounge access plus .. free transport to your gate! No bad at all

And this is just domestic

food is ok too

Fyi

if you are going from terminal one to two in PVG

you need to exit the terminal and look out for the shuttle bus which takes you to the other terminal

its free but only runs til 10 pm

make sure you give yourself enough time ..

An oasis after such a long journey
There are showers but it’s an hour queue
Food is decent
WiFi requires some registration
Very troublesome
