Wow that's fast thought would be slower since there is going to be a reduction in COE growth

Numbers allocation not necessary for new cars with new COE.

Those who change carplate or sell carplate to individual will require a few of transfer.. and transfer, there will be a new number allocated.

Example:

U wanna buy a car plate number from someone. LTA does not allow direct transfer of car plate number to another individual. Hence, many will go by the loophole.. and LTA staff obviously allow this loophole to proceed. Car plate number owner will engage a dealer to borrow an "about to scrap" car OR the direct owner will use his own car (if fully paid and no existing loan) to transfer the number plate. The said car will then be added additional transfer count.

Just 1 transfer of number plate can have at least 2 new plates wasted, if im not wrong. :)

Have SLN38B for sales. Not enough cars in the household to put already..

No offence, but to pay $16k for a SLN car plate, I would have go for bidding of new ones instead.

Perhaps you may want to consider lower your price and there might be a buyer.

The new "SMC 10B" is commanding a $11,800 from dealer only.

In my opinion only.

Cheers :)
