i think 3333 is between is 5-10K

Older E or S series will definitely be more eg 2-3 x.

try bid from LTA directly, suggest the main bidding session (not the subsequent round)

why main bidding session instead of subsequent round?

Usually, after the main bidding exercise, there are still some 2 digit numbers or nice numbers not bidded, which is available for next round. Hence, if anyone had bidded the minimum of 1K for these no in the first main bidding exercise, he or she would have been successful.

icic... i was thinking in opposite way, haha... like since no one wants these numbers, it means higher chance to get it at min bid for the next round. hehe...

Previously, if not mistaken, numbers like 9899, 9989 or 8889 are still not taken after the main bidding exercise, but gone subsequently.

Hence, potentially 1K plus is sufficient (if you try for the main bidding exercise - luck on your side).

For same digits 8888, 9999 definitely more expensive. However, 4444 maybe cheaper.

Now car numbers not so popular like in the past

If you call those dealing in car plate numbers, some are not even interested

They told me only those single alphabet like E series or S are in demand

sold my 20+year plate with a lot of 8 for only 3K :(

i would think single digit still has some value regarding of starting alphabets. say maybe below 20k.

Just wonder if i am interested in my friend's car plate number, and if his car is going to scrap without retaining the number. How shall i go about transferring his car number to me if i want? Need to pay high transfer fees?

Yes. Transfer with 11$ and transfer the number with 1300$. Scrap after that. Number worth that much?

Yes. Once you pay 11$, it is your second car. So, number transfer to an old car is 1300$. If you want to save 1200$, you can buy a new car and transfer [:p]

Same transfer fee like retain number to 2nd hand car la.
