Was on NE Line from Sengkang towards Chinatown on Monday at about 8.40am. The train stopped at Buangkok, an announcement requested all to disembark as the train's "service ends at this station". Doors were closed.

Everyone was confused, no one moved. Announcement was repeated, doors opened, and we went out to an already packed platform.

Train moved off, the next train arrived similarly packed, everyone pushed to try to get into the train, until a lady was heard shouting out loud, "don't push me!"  Did not notice any train/station attendant on hand.

Wonder who has priority to board the next train...the ones in queue, the ones who had to disembark, or as it happened, free for all.

This is not something new liao. If you take train daily, such thing always happen de. Lol.

Leave too early also kena.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-44149791

A Japanese rail company has apologised after a train left a station 25 seconds early, the second such case in months.

The operator said the "great inconvenience we placed upon our customers was truly inexcusable".

If the details are anything to go by, customers are faced with slipping standards: a train last November left 20 seconds early while this time it was a full 25 seconds premature.
