How much is this selling?

any EV now even after -45k REBATE, is still priced high. Thus the parf is low, hence the overall depre is higher than its petrol equivalent .

E.G X3 m30i depre 21k+ , ix3 depre maybe 23k+

“At the price of S$252,888 with COE, it makes headlines as the cheapest version of the X3 on sale today, since the least expensive gasoline-powered X3 is the X3 sDrive20i, which goes for S$254,888 with COE, while the X3 xDrive30i M Sport is S$38k more expensive. “

(edited)

@Melody288 the price is inclusive of the 45k rebate already.

Unless PML willing to give OT similar to the X3, but X3 will still be lower depre due to the PARF.

But its indeed attractive compared to other premium EV

If ix3 OMV is $70k, its depreciation will be higher than X3 xdrive3.0 and Tesla Model 3 Performance.

If ix3 OMV is $100k, its depreciation will be on par with X3 xdrive 3.0 and Tesla Model 3 Performance.

@coffeeblack what makes u choose the iX3 over x3? high mileage / running cost?

EV and ICE car drive is very different. Do go for a test drive and feel it yourself.

Congrats! The iX3 is certainly an interesting ride. Have had the opportunity to test drive the iX3 and was pleasantly impressed.

I have done a tabulation for the 4 electric SUVs available here currently (the Jaguar i-Pace is no longer on sales here it seems). Do note that the OMV for iX3 is estimated based on RRP in UK, which is very close to X3 M40i, while the rest are taken from LTA database. In term of profit margin and annual depreciation, BMW is the clear winner here.

In short the iX3 is late to the party, to be precise 3 years after the 3rd gen X3 (G01) was launched, and now that the gasoline version has been given a facelift, BMW decided to align the 2 model from this year. The facelift iX3 is rumored to be unveiled in China this September and production to start by end of this year.

If everything goes as planned, the facelift iX3 will hit our shore by mid of next year. So well, about 1 year from now. I believe that is also one of reason why the iX3 is priced so relatively cheaper here.

Congrats on your purchase. Did you get any further discount or perk? And please let us know the OMV when you collect your car this Friday. Let see if my estimate is close enough.

And field report too... [:)]
