Facelift Cerato prices are out, price gap between L and EX seems larger now, maybe due to more major equipment differences.

@yellowshaun no info yet, just saw their latest pricelist. Kia website still shows pre-facelift, maybe will know closer to August launch.

Priced quite high unfortunately. Probably also due to higher COE now.

Hopefully it comes with more safety functions with that price gap difference (Example: Blind-spot warning, Smart Cruise Control,  Forward Collision-Avoidance). Need something else to distinguish when versus Avante Elite

I got the pdf brochure from Alvin Tham, Kia SE.

Looks like safety features only come with the mid trim onward... Too bad only VES Band B, so cant compete with the Avante at Band A2 (15k "discount")...

@yellowshaun I see why there's 10k difference between L and EX now. Prices quite close to Avante I feel, so the VES Band A2 15k rebate isn't really reflected in the pricing.

Looks like it is really equipped with current engine instead of the dual port injection unit found in Avante. This will not have a performance or fuel efficiency advantage over Avante either.

yeah - objectively, for the price of the EX you could get the elite trim avante.

it's even barely holding off the S trim avante features wise. the EX has LED headlamps/smart cruise control which the S trim doesn't. but the S trim has electronic driver seat/leather interior/wireless charging/electrochromic mirror/auto rain sensor/blind spot collison avoidance assist amongst others that the EX doesn't

Really wonder how they fight with Avante Elite which has "newer engine" and 10.25" Full Color Cluster display. The rest of features Avante Elite also have

puzzling why C&C refuses to update the engine for the Cerato FL. With the (probably) same VES Band and Rebate, it would have been a better fight with Avante in pricing and features.

Thanks. I quite annoyed with the assigned Kia SE. I asked him is it a facelift he have the cheek to tell me it's a new k3.

I asked if it retains the old engine, he replied it's the same good engine.

Very annoying trying to play with words...
