Last time I drove a car with sunroof.

Wow, the heat on top is unbearable during hot and sunny day.

I have to stick a few layer of cardboard to absorb the heat…

From then on, I never buy cars with sunroof or moon roof….

my work place have a Hyundai avante with sunroof.

can see the top sealed with black tape...

The other "weak" part of Avante is the rubber seal for the antenna.

Once you get it... you figure out it's not all it's hyped to be..

You are right . That is another important point to note.

 

The heat from the sunroof also affects the cooling efficiency of the air con.

book on 15 Jul when the price is not firm yet as still awaiting LTA to pass the car. 

converted to confirm booking on 22 Jul when price is firm. today is 2nd bidding for me. but guess no chance again. they put 25k for me.

no hurry for me though as SE told me my estimated delivery of car is Aug to Oct. i told them Oct will be best as my current cerato is due for road tax renewal in Nov.

That's why the Corolla still sells.. Toyota may have figured that Singaporeans are pretty conservative, they like some stuff like airbags, but aren't prepared to go for all the active safety features, and prefer reliable to a long list of safety items... at least not at the budget segment..

 

Consumer Reports USA of 10 cars that make 200k miles without any major breakdowns, i think 7 are toyota, 3 are honda.

 

But ok nvm, OT.

 

Saw the K3 in the flesh at Waterway Point. Looks better than the previous generation. But more modern than handsome.

The EX trim IMHO, will be more complete if equipped with 6 airbags and ESC.
