Will4081 2nd Gear May 9, 2019 Share May 9, 2019 For an “owners” forum, there are a lot of comments by people who are not owner nor surely don’t even consider Cat A cars worthy. Everyone would like to have a Maseratti, but still there is a market for good Cat A family sedans
Contipro 5th Gear May 9, 2019 Share May 9, 2019 Cerato too heavy for a 1.0t, the car gonna move like a snail considering it's already a snail now.there are quite a number of sedan with 1.0T work well, some more positive feedback. hence I think should work well for cerato also being higher torque available at low rpm.. Ceecookie 5th Gear May 9, 2019 Share May 9, 2019 Have you tested when the SX Cerato rolled down from MachRitchni Viaduct towards Braddel Road? Lastly, the gearbox is wonderful. I do not find any problem to overtake on the highway. But, you want to Chong. Wrong car. Please go for Stinger. Go test drive some Cat B cars then u know what people are saying here about power

Seewhyjay 1st Gear May 10, 2019 Share May 10, 2019 (edited) Go test drive some Cat B cars then u know what people are saying here about power I find my Cerato horsepower and pick up is decent on sports mode. it's fast enough out of traffic light stops and can fast enough for over taking. I don't know how much power you really need on Singapore roads. Edited May 10, 2019 by Seewhyjay

Vinceng Turbocharged May 10, 2019 Share May 10, 2019 (edited) COE is now $36,700 and Cerato EX is $91,000 https://www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/newcars_overview.php?CarCode=12334 In early 2017 when Cat A COE was $51,000, the same car was selling for $89,000 COE has dropped $14,300, but the price has increased by $2,000 now. Makes no sense to buy at all !!! Edited May 10, 2019 by Vinceng
RogerNg_185295 6th Gear May 10, 2019 Share May 10, 2019 Some buyers did not track prices in detail, so they just buy if its within their budget. I do not think this is the right time to buy a car. So expensive and if COE prices drop again, the first owner will lose like crazy.
