Zzz bummer. My girls flutter kicks are not good. So I bought flippers to let her train her kicking naturally. Cos I can talk until cows come home and it's hard to get her to consistently kick properly.

But safra pools doesn't allow it other than under their swim school. Apparently public pools also can't.😡

Zzz need to bring to my sis condo pool to use. 😪

Tough luck.

I went swimming this evening too. Trying to relearn freestyle after watching YouTube videos.

Yup I'm also relearning front crawl. But due to trying to teach my girl, not enough practice time on my own.

After teaching her with not much success today, I did some drills for a short while before have to head home for dinner.

Good to see more runners take up swimming...I myself use swimming as recovery so slow and steady one. Imo better than those recovery runs.💪

Err...no need to be good. Can slowly learn.

Running is lead actor, swimming is calefair.

I think it's good to cross train to minimize injuries, and perhaps break the monotony of doing just one sport.

Swimming builds upper body strength, complementing running nicely.

I enjoy my time in the pool. Only thing i actively look forward to.

Trying to improve my front crawl. But due to limited time and wanting to do my jogs (walk the dog also), some gym etc, only got time once a week.

Was supposed to swim on Thurs afternoon while my kids play at the pool. But my friend who's on leave brought his kids up as well. So to jaga the kids, didn't swim.
We had dinner with macdonald's, drove them back home, then drove back to swim. Finished around 8pm [laugh]

Swimming is very well the best form of exercise.

V shaped bodies, can eat well, no injuries per se.

Can try ironman race, the swimming aspect is the toughest stretch.

Of course, i swim like a baby whale.

I suppose the only drawback is that it does not strengthen your bones.

Exercise need to have some load bearing and impact.  Else bone density suffer when grow old. Always cross train to have variety.
