my first volvo ever. so hard to forget. changed it to S80 2.5T bcos lack of power on NSHW. haha.

otherwise, i thought it was pretty good and modern looking for it's time. That centre floating console, hard to forget. Tho the alum material always get the ding from seatbelt buckle. haha

oh very ok. bcos it has ground clearance of 21cm, very easy for the front to clear the kerbs when doing tight manoeuvres. 

The turning radius of the SPA volvos are noticeably smaller than the ford based platforms, making turning easier as well. no complains. helps that it came with the self parking side sensors, which reflects proximity indication on the side screen too. (if only it had 360 deg cam, that would have been perfect).

anw, there's v90cc t6 pro available for test drive already. can go check it out. similar pricing to the v90 t6rd / v90cc t5, with a lot more features. it's inscription based (luxury trim - nice drift wood, ventilated nappa seats, sun shades for the rear doors, etc). retailing at $240k, less usually discounts and trade in rebates, i would reckon $220+k net?

As far as wowo is concerned, no snail means a snail unless big cc like the one off Yamaha V8 in the XC90...

Snail (or 2 snails) is good. Save on Road tax for the same power. I never considered the 2.4 NA nor 3.2 NA.  Now the T6 also a bit fake, not the I6 double snails anymore.

Dont think there's double snail before...only twin scroll...a bit of lag but still shiok on mid range...

sound wise agreed. but i prefer my car to be as silent as possible (so meaty sound is not really a thing for me).

thanks to the 8 speed automatic, the 4 cylinder t6 feels comparable to the 6 cylinder in terms of pull at the low to mid range. high range, seems a little out of breath. And idling is noticeably noisier than the 6 cylinder too.

and also agreed, not going back to NA as much as possible. haha. Other than the creamy/linear acceleration (in general), it's lacking the low end torque. i rather get EV for the same creamy linear effect. haha.

There are only 2 absolute nuts for Volvo in there and he is one of them.

(hint: This guy likes to stalk new S60 and some say his real home is Volvo’s showroom 😂😂🤣)

My XC60 was one of the best cars I ever owned. Still think of the plush, refined ride (after some mods) and those comfortable relaxed drives up to Penang in those plush seats from time to time.
