PQP for Cat A is at $37k. Hope it drop further for those renewing COE next month.

For those luxury model (B), it is getting more attractive. Even lose PArf $20!K, add $18K (renew 5yr COE), $6K depress can drive luxury car.

e200 avg for $215k , after factorising in 25k overtrade/discount , 6k service credits and 2k insurance.. managed to get the last e200 avg with dual wide screen.. but does not come with the new "s class" style" steering

very good price. I thought all e200 will be getting the dual wide screen already?

nope.. next batch of e200 avg come with 1 wide screen and 1 analogue... looks v ugly.. but it will also come with the new "s class style" steering wheel that has integrated cruise control buttons. only the exclusive and above have dual wide screen..

I see... 1 wide screen is still nicer than the initial batch with the smaller screen and analogue speedo.

just booked my w213 with C&C with coe rebate at $34k. showroom was quite empty yesterday.. wonder if there will be a freak bidding where i get a $0 coe and get $34k refund...haha

will it be better if coe price drop(get coe rebate) or raise alot( higher paper value)?

No la. The most is $1 during bidding so you got $2 COE. Rebate of $33,998. Lol

2019 is the onset of COE quota drought.

I think it is a good time to buy new car for the next 6 months.

Don't think a drought, still got a lot of expiring COEs at least till end of next year.

Looking

at LTA data

https://www.lta.gov.sg/content/dam/ltaweb/corp/PublicationsResearch/files/FactsandFigures/MVP02-1_New_Reg_by_COE.pdf

I am assuming those bought in 2009 de-registred in 2019 and so on.

2009 - 70K (Both Cat)

2010 - 42k (Both Cat)

2011 - 28k (Both Cat)

2012 - 28k (Both Cat)

For all who are interested, I have the following 3-month total Cat.A/B/E coe quota released that is available from LTA website too:

Jul-Sep'08: 24000

Oct-Dec'08: 22205

Jan-Mar'09: 22149

Apr-Jun'09: 17198

Jul-Sep'09: 17252

Oct-Dec'09: 14446

Jan-Mar'10: 14441

Apr-Jun'10:   9677

The start of the so called "drought" will probably be from the Aug-Oct 2019 quota, around 1 year away from now..

Based on the stats, COE at $20k is realistic by end 2018.

46k car scraped (2018), without the “assistance” from Uber, things gonna be interesting till next year Q3.

Somehow, I believe G will step in sooner or later to propel COE prices again!
