Win and it becomes a 1 horse race

Draw does not benefit both parties

Lose and we may not qualify UCL

I respect n admire your willingness to do what is good for EPL but being an Arsenal fan, your team’s interest comes first n that means a win v Man City is paramount esp as your team is now in the driving seat for the 4th spot.

 

Pool became nervous last night, a surprise as they took an early lead but couldn’t get the second goal. Klopp blames the ice/snow which frankly is a poor excuse n also exacerbated by the Anfield groundsmen only clearing the snow from the side Pool was attacking in the second half!

He also claimed a stonewall penalty which I hv yet to see. There will be more twists n turns not only in the title race but also for the fight for the UCL places.

With tickets reduction to only 51000. Theres too much empty seats liao and its not helped by the seats being red. Which is the color usually not associated with spurs though.

Yes it is not quite right coz it’s like hoarding players n treating them like cattle to be traded but then again this method has brought in lots of £ for Chelsea.

 

The ones that they feel can’t make it at the Bridge but still able to be decent players are sold often at profit eg Lukaku, De Bruyne (these 2 turned out to be more than decent). The really good ones like Courtois were brought back to play in the first team n the not so good ones were moved on, sometimes at profit as well like Papy Djilobodji who was bought for a small sum n moved on to Sunderland for £8mil. He went AWOL later.

 

Of course, Chelsea got many wrong as well besides the above 2 like Salah amongst several others but u can see why they persist on this loaning of players as it has been generally profitable n it helps to self fund the academy n even more. FIFA has been reported to want to curtail loaning of players to be between 6-8players from 2020-21 season.

FIFA should have acted much earlier, but variety of vested interests affected their decision making process.

Now Spurs have included the forgotten man Jansen back into the squad. Seems no one wants him n with their injury crisis, Spurs got no choice but to incorporate back into the fold.

Chelsea went back to winning ways as they thumped Huddersfield 5-0 with Higuain opening his accounts with a brace and Man of the Match Hazard also got 2. Not reading too much into this result as the terriers are a poor side short of quality and destined for the Championship. Together with Fulham (which is a surprise to me as I expected them to survive comfortably), I think this 2 will definitely go down.

 

Cardiff making a fight of avoiding relegation n the spirit of Sala spurring them on as they beat Bournemouth 2-0 to get within 2 pts of the 3 teams above them.

 

Tonite City v Arsenal is the big match of this weekend!

Kun Agüero hattrick see City down Arsenal 3-1 to go within 2 pts of Pool but with an extra game played as Pool visit Hammers tonite. Really good performance by City with an excellent team goal for the second Agüero goal

Ya they had let slip some really good players but the financial side of doing this project has reaped good financial rewards for Chelsea n hence they will continue doing this unless the rules are changed.

 

Latest buy Higuain seems to be settling in but he looks a tad slow as perhaps his fitness is not there yet.

 

BTW, Leeds your favourite team seems on course for promotion but alas lost the outright leadership to Norwich last weekend.

No one can ever second guess or predict accurately Pep's line-up. It is likely that Aguero will be dropped in the next game and Jesus will play.

That’s true n also they do need to rotate as there is a fixture pile up for going for 4 trophies but Jesus doesn’t seem to be the player he was when he first joined City. Was selfish to try a shot when he came on when a side pass to Sterling would hv been the better option.

 

Aguero is the king of the 6 yard box. All his 3 goals came from there
