by right u buy tyres outside or inside ad ,

will not have free rotation1.

if have,

its part of their promotion .

if no promotion and not stated any where,

they collect 25 buks is quite normal.

but like u say u buy car and tyres from them,

can always ask for it  [;)]

By far your statement sounded more reasonable .

Yes I will ask , nothing to lose esp I am their loyal customer

nothing is Equal in this World

free or not free  , is individual package or Deal or Agreement.

1 had paid $1400 tires from C & C should get it free or not ? dont forget you had paid $100k over for the Car not just the Tires.

1 had paid as little as $300 for 4 tires can get Lifr time free rotation and Plug repair.

above 2 x cases is it Equal ?

Do bear in mind free rotation doesnt meant Free all 4 balancing

do check is it include all 4 balancing.?

some car AD inculde free rotation when you go back for Servicing , but ever heard they rotate the Wheels on Paper [bounce1]

Cycle and Carriage recommends Tyre rotation every 5,000km.

Is this the industry norm?

The norm for 'normal' cars are 10K km for rotation and preferably alignment, especially if getting new tires. If yours is foc, then why not?

Tyre rotation is chargeable at $21.40.

My experience was not good after rotation

Bought 4 runflats and was given free nitrogen and free rotation

After 10k due for rotation

Then made appointment went down

First they did front to back exchange

Drove home but became super noisy

LL drive back

So they did cross rotation

Same thing super noisy

Finally boss came and see

Told me actually my car he doesn't recommend

In the end all 4 back to same position

Noise gone

PS. YMMV

RunFlat he said confirm noisy

If rotation means all position uneven liao so worser condition

Thats why AD also told me dont rotate

Just check tyre condition and wheel alignment ok liao  :scared:

My personal experience  [:(]

Those who use staggered tyres can only rotate left and right, I think dont bother to rotate, just use and replace when tyres worn out. If tyres have uneven wear, just do alignment and shocks replacement because these are the cause of tyres problem.

Agree or disagree ?

Disagree. I still swap front to front and back to back. Definitely increases the life.

Very strange. I always rotated in my both F10s. No noise change or increase.

Correct way is:

RL to FL

RR to FR

FL to RR

FR to RL

Staggered wheels cannot rotate this way because front and back are of different size.

Swap front with front and back with back as I wrote lah

Edit: I talked about 2 different cars. Porsches are staggered and Previous BMWs were not staggered, but RFTs

But one key reason to rotate wheel is also to even out the wear between driver and driven wheels so as to balance the life span of the 4 wheels. There is not much use in the case of staggered wheels by just swapping left to right. If a wheel wear is unbalanced, the fix should be shocks or alignment, swapping wheels wont solve the proble.

Every 10k, balance them out and swap. Good balancing helps generally.
