As a mamil, I recognise this rider is also a mamil. 😄 He is wearing cleats. Only reason to fall like that is speeding. He shouldn't ride fast on PCNs as there are lots of kids riding about. Want to go fast, go on public roads.

He rode on TMCR cycling track where he fell.

Most Road cyclist there cycle >30km/h.

After seeing this I also "Siam" that patch.... though it seem flat when I passed it..... Its likely the pothole that caused him to fall.

Went cycling on Monday....

All patched up properly.....

But the whole cycling lane full of dirt....

This type I have seen several times. Maybe they don't like their kids and hope something happens to them (for those on the roads, those on park connectors OK lah).

Stupidity you mean ?

I may not want to  comment  if someone  wishes to take some calculated risk on the road but it is not fair to bring a kid into the equation as he/she does  not know the risk involved, worse still, the kid behind get a bigger chance of getting rear ended and he/she will be in no position to protect himself/herself.

Chill bro...

Just don't take it personally.

Cycling is to get the need for speed that is beneficial to fitness in a greener and sustainable way.

There are really indeed many heck care cyclist.... as long as we don't fall in that category..

No need to feel offended.

Keep training quads, calves, heart and lungs.

Cycle 30 mins each day.... Or regularly Sure can achieve higher average speed

For higher average speed, I try not to exceed 1hr.

Unless I am going for longer ride then aiming for distance than timing.

Not necessary because of tired.

Trying going at 30km/h and see for yourself lor.

Riding too long <> tired.

There are MCFer doing 100km in 3hrs.

Yah lah 10,000 dollar bicycles.

Do it with a 100 dollar steel bar then talk lor.

Now entry level chin chai 10k, not includ mods.

The F brand quite popular, even lao auntie become pro rider. Force multiplier.

my personal preference is the C brand.

There's something about cycling that is different from running. Being slow is very apparent. Initially I just cycle for fitness....  I get overtaken by everyone, even slender female riders as they chitchat (those things are fit!).

So I ride more, to be faster. So I became faster, 35kmh on flats, match the girls, can follow angmo groups at stretches. Then I downloaded strava. Then I discovered KOM on strava.

Suddenly 30kmh seems snail pace. In a way its unhealthy by triggering your competitive impulse....obsessed with top speed, challenges, etc 😅

Wait till you see a senior age guy cycle on recumbent bicycle at cbd..

Few weeks back I was at cbd at evening time and then from far I noticed something small right in front.. I don't know what's that, as I drove closer and realised this senior guy cycle as above picture. The height was so low that when my car was beside him, it totally vanished on my left side. My side mirror also not able to capture him very low on the road. This is so dangerous man..
