Dinner at home with pork rib soup boiled with six herbs (六味排骨汤), which I understood from my mom were namely Chinese barley, dried lotus seeds, dried lily bulbs, dried longan, Euryale seeds and solomonseal rhizome (玉竹).

Char siew of roast paradise is nice but abit ex at 100gm for $5.50. Didn’t know they had an outlet at AMK.

Their Char Siew is the more ex I ever bought. It is the best I ate so far.

 

Miss it dearly.

 

Old Airport Road was closed yesterday. Not sure why. So go AMK.

Saturday dinner, my helper roasted a 1.2 kg tenderloin, made french beans, mashed potatoes, supplemented by 2 NTUC Cold Storage deli roast chickens

 

 

for dessert, she made a coconut and lime panna cotta tart
