Stop your fearmongering! Donât you know that the ADs are not supposed to void your car warranty if you choose not to perform the car servicing in-house anymore? This is true since 31st Dec 2017 and also retroactively applies for cars already purchased but with the warranty still active.

Why ?Any recourse if the AD decide to void warranty? Which govt agency gonna help you?

The front 3m solar film given is also not very good. But heard that the rebate for not taking the solar film given is quite low so up to you to decide if solar film quality is important

I agree the film installation by tuff kote is not top par. But good thing is that their warranty exchange is hassle free - just make an appointment to go down and they will exchange without qns. Edited by Ceecookie

No trade in leh. First car

Hmm. Maybe you should try another sales at other places. I have seen some guys here getting a good deal at RTMT. If they give you what you want and you still prefer your existing SE, tell him/her politely that you managed to see a better deal outside and if he/she can match it.

Rebates for not taking any of the bundled package items is usually pathetic.

I think the Solar Film itself is alright, just that the workmanship of the installation is not exactly good.

No need make appointment. I just drove down to get it rectified.

Maybe you should state if you know of someone who has had his or her warranty voided after 31st Dec 2017 because of this. Otherwise, you are just making a baseless post.

I guess to each his own then. It's their car afterall but I am still in the cautious camp. Afterall cars are not cheap when we bought them. If warranty issues ding dong here n there, more headache for the owners

Mmz.. I went outside to service my hyundai. But then the external workshop screwed up. I ended going back to kmc and claim warranty. They rectified, no questions asked. No need to pay money to kmc.

Maybe you can try answering my questions?

1. Seek clarification and understand the basis of warranty voidance from the AD

2. If this fails, contact CCS
