Yes. The equipment level is the same as the Elantra AD when it was first launched.

Later on they dropped the ventilated seats and blind spot monitoring from the Elite which caused it to lose the features that made it look premium in the first place.

Nice. Thanks for sharing. Basic model getting feature previous Elantra Basic didn't offer. Any idea if automatic climate control is still exclusive to the Elite trim?

Yes, the auto AC only on elite.

My guys shift them. The longest distance is from ROro down to the port area.

Nice... thanks for the update! The specs list is the same set when the previous model year was launched in Singapore... when they first switched back to the Elantra name after the previous Avante...

So do most cars in SG come into the Pasir Panjang area port?

I recall that in the peak days I had to pick up my own car from the port..

Looks like the S trim spec for facelift elantra seems better than previous S trim when they first launched?!

Probably may drop some features over time to lower OMV like the previous Elite trim.

Just check with the SE. Basic model stands at $73,999 and the S model stands at $78,999. U will still enjoy the 5+2 years extended warranty and 7 years Free Service. This package will be taken out once the Avante passed inspection. Anyone purchase the Avante after it has passed inspection will not be given 7 years Warranty and 7 years free service.

Just wondering why the price did not drop even when COE drop

Funny. I bought the S trim when COE was $40k for 79999. COE almost halved but price barely moved?

Hyundai is no fool..

Price the car right and the buyers will come.

Look at other cars with reduced specs or safety features: they still sell if the price is right.

At almost 60k more, you see lots of critics of the 1.0l Turbo.,

However if you sell it at the same price as the current model, let see if the same critics will shun it. The heavy body is begging for a more stout engine but price wins..

AD margin higher than COE now. Its Like paying for 2 COEs, 1 for Gov 1 for AD. Edited by explorerX

They still want to maintain profit margins despite Coe dropped so much
