What breed is the dog?

a breed that looks somewhat like lassie.

I always advice my friends to adopt!

maybe in future, not now.

This photo cannot accurately portray the disproportionate amount of sibei buay song aura emanating from a tiny fur ball...

And my best buddy who passed away just before Christmas last year. I'd bring him out on drives and for car meets.
Still miss and think of him everyday.

you are looking for a sheltie, the smaller version of a collie.

but they need lots of grooming. you see the fluffy fur is very nice. but needs lots of elbow grease to get to that stage.

i agree with discoburg. adopt might actually have more merits than purchase. besides the points about saving a life and discouraging puppy mills, adoption gives you the chance to really assess if the dog is suitable for your family and lifestyle. shelter volunteers can accurately tell you which dog is of which character and match you accordingly.

this might apply to me (and some others) but not all: the appearance of the dog does not matter once it is integrated. it is a passing phase. what's very important is the bond between the dog and you and your family. that bond is the glue which makes dogs (and cats too) man's best friend(s).

your poodle looks like a soft toy. damn cute.

is blackie a pom? it's difficult to get a good photo of a black fur animal.

i did consider adoption. But my wife is ultimately the main carer, so she has the final decision.

Shetland sheepdog. my wife prefers that or a spitz.

My friend has 4 of them.

My only requirement is that the dog must be young and must be able to run with me.

Cats are the cheapest and most maintenance free pets

I've never been a cat person. My mother dislikes cats.

But i went a cat cafe in Korea, and that's interesting.

wat u are refering to is local street cats.

local street dogs also quite maintenance free.

if u got a special breed cat esp with long fur ( oversea ),

the maintenance will be quite a sum also

Generally speaking, are male dogs more manja than female dogs? For cats, male are generally more manja.

top photo of the sisters: what breed is that?

sorry about the loss of your good pal. i understand your pain and the immense hole they create in our hearts when they leave us.
