I recently bought a Honda Jazz Hybrid from Kah Motor.   May I know what are the differences between ECON and non-ECON driving.   Also, any fuel saving or increasing when gear shift to "B" versus "D" ?

according to Kay motors, you need to be light footed in Econ mode for a 10% saving on fuel..anyway the fuel consumption is already very good..I am averaging 25 km/l…I m a light footed driver.

@lexiton Depends alot on the journey.  If got high way with no jam, easily 24km/L, sometimes even 27km/L.  If short journeys that are around 10-15 mins around 20-21 km/L.  The eHEV manages consumption well in jams and don't drop that much.

My average is around 21km/L, but my journeys are mainly short journey of around 10-15 mins, and seldom travel highway.

Thats really impressive numbers

especially during this high petrol period

Btw, the eHev is under CAT A or CAT B COE?

@lexiton For Jazz eHEV its under CAT A, same as the petrol Jazz.  But for the HRV, the eHEV is CAT B, while the petrol is CAT A.

So the Jazz eHEV is worth the extra price, but the HRV is really questionable, based on consumption alone.

For the consumption of the Jazz eHEV I drive mainly in B mode, seldom switch on the ECON.  Also my Jazz may not be optimal consumption given my slightly larger tailgate spoiler, mud guards and front grill which could have slightly more air drag.  But at the speeds I drive, I doubt the slightly increased air drag make a big difference.

Also I drive alone most of the time and I drive quite gentle.

Wondering if anyone still using the stock tyres for those who bought from PI? Mine came with Dunlop Enasave EC300 185/60/15 and thinking of changing. Is there any quiet tyres for Fit? Considering Michelin Energy XM2+ and Yokohama AE51.

Fit's noise insulation is not that good, so wondering if got any recommendations. TIA!
