Refer to the spec sheet.

Eheim 3400 consumes 80watts. So do the maths.

My Pond is using Tsurumi and it is rated 150w and pumps about 12000 litre/hr.

I recently chanced on 2 china make pump in Jebao and Amphi. Jebao can control the speed and the power consumption is much much lower. The review is also very good. New Amphi pump also can control speed.

I bought this from lazada https://www.lazada.sg/-i180278804-s230370083.html?spm=a2o42.order_list.detail_image..73cc7a93Lu64E1&urlFlag=true&mp=1

The specs is 10000 litre/hr and consume only 80 watts.

My japanese Tsurumi pump has been with me for quite a few years. Recently move house and my new pond is much smaller. New pump is still on the way though.

I am also using Amphi pump from china for my arowanna tank. Specs is 5000 litre/hr and only consumes 45 watt.

The older pumps like Atman, Rio power consumption is much higher.

Thanks for sharing. 38w for 5800 litre/hr is very efficient.

but is china product so you have to give allowance on either the wattage or the efficiency or both lol
