No picture. Mine is dead rocks with fish only setup. 2 percular clowns and 1 tomato clown. They have been with me for 3-4 years already. Just a small 2 ft tank.

Bro, do you have a shelter for the fish?

Slightly OT
But has anyone experience the phenomenon that the water from the taps is warm?
It's so warm I don't need to use the heaters anymore  - that's nice, but it may mean my exposed pool water gets pretty warm too...

No overhead shelter for my aquarium. But there are hidden nooks and crevices within the dead rocks for the fishes to hide and sleep.

The water from my unit is hot during the afternoon. I only top up water to my fish tank during the mornings so that cool water goes in.

Bros
Anyone seen this feed around?

The ones I've seen are really big 5 or 10k packs.

I'm looking for the 1kg ones... thanks

1kg 16 dollars! I buy 5kg Hikari about 20 dollars but not high growth one. Just feed more to compensate. Fish can grow white white fat fat also. Anyway try the row of shops at Clementi Ave 2. I usuly buy from the first and most popular one nearest to the coffee shop.

Those big flower, landscaping and garden shops will have but price may not be as cheap as wholesale. I visit the ones at Caldecott. But parking is a problem there especially this Christmas season.

Years back one contractor brought me somewhere in Sungei Kadut to select pebbles. Googled one but there may be others:

how do you treat any skin infections for koi? Should we separate the fish ? Thanks 🙏

No need. Just throw the medication into the pond. But you got to know what infections, may need different types of medication.

PS might kill off the good bacteria in the filters and will take time to re-establish. Isolate the fish is ideal but how to catch the fish and got to find a temporary pond/tank.

Looks quite serious. I had one that was like that for months before dying....

I would go to my regular koi place (Nippon Koi) and ask them what's best. Can get the salt there as well.

A shoutout to you bro and bro Adrianli for your advice..

The red thing on the fish looks smaller, the fish are swimming more.. I might drop in one more load of the antibiotic thingy and the salt again next week - it's been raining a lot and see...

Much appreciated again bros!

My dog recently had a similar patch at the same part of the body!  After antibiotics and plenty twice a day cleaning by me, all healed and hair growing back!
