The previous Lancer EX changed from 1.6L to 1.5L and later revert back to 1.6L. But mazda 3 seems still continue with the 1.5L engine.

1.5 and 1.6, is there significant difference?

i drove vios, elantra, latio and lancer, some 1.6, some 1.5, not much difference lei

greatly agreed your point.

so sometime when I see those review said how bloody smooth the ride when cruising NSHW at 120-130km/hr with 1.5 to 1.6 NA, å¬å°±å¥½ãã

I bet if NA min 1.8L would be less stressful..

but high tax and COE in sg lack alot of choices for 1.8L NA.

sadly...

120-130 abt 3000rpm

Quite OK for me

Just went to tek to see the mz3

The quality inside out really very premium.

I wonder y would anyone claim the material n quality they used r bad n even claim Korea cars or Nissan n Toyota cars r better

The interior quality and overall design of the car indeed nice and premium. So did you test drive the car?

you mentioned 1.5 NA remap vs 1.0 turbo remap engine ,

or 1.5NA remap vs 1.0 turbo stock??

either or. but in my context, it's the 1.5NA remap. the high compression of the skyactiv engine does allow it to take advantage of a higher ron rating and higher redline limit.

i think most turbos for euro models are using a base 95 ron. but it too, can take advantage of a remap for 98 or even retuning the turbo pressure..

I guess you need to put in Sg context. Nobody really drives a manual here cos of traffic lights and jams.

And a high cc car in sg is expensive cos of road taxes. FC as well due to city driving

actually i would only get a manual. don't care even if i have to PI. i've been looking at cars for a potential moving back.. already eyeballed 2 manual cars i'm keen on depending if i can find another mazda 3 to personal import back since mine just passed the 3 year mark..  [bigcry]

plus malaysia is only a bridge crossing away..

i mean so long as it's not something ridiculous like a 6.2L v8, i'm sure most can afford.. 2.0 seems pretty standard given the amount of m6 i saw when i recently went back.

Audi list price is usually very high. Like the A4, is 170k+ on the list but selling below 150k. Want the real price, check with the SE.

What is the latest price for the mazda 3 after yesterday coe bidding?

Shouldn’t have any changes as their coe rebate should still be $30K

$28K profit margin is insane for a bread and butter 1.5l Jap car which rear leg room is not any more spacious than a Perodua Bezza..
