Neutral Newbie

Thought of installing the bumper lip spoiler protector as shown below.

Is this LTA approved and any good workshop to recommend for the installation? Thanks.

I find the styling cues of the current Mazda 3 very familiar with the 7th gen Mazda 323.

And the hatchback pretty similar to Astina from yesteryears.

Thats some great design works to add in a bit of lineage.

Yesterday was driving on the MCE towards AYE. Then suddenly the err or a sobstruction to front sensor came on. It persisted for awhile and I thought I can drive to the Penjuru service centre and how them. However it went off after 10-15 mins when I sped up.  😪

How much more HP and torque does the tiny battery in the Mazda 3 adds to the petrol engine? Is it significantly faster at pick up than the old 3 which uses the same 1.5L engine?

Of cos not. You mistaken the purpose of mild hybrid already..

Maybe that’s why I can’t find anything on it online. Only read that it’s at least suppose to help with pick up.

Admittedly, the mild hybrid system will not be used to assist driving, but like most mild hybrid systems, it'll help power on-board components as well as lower its fuel consumption

Probably use to power things like...
Start stop
Keyless entry
AC
Radio
Headlights

Mild hybrid has a battery that helps in the situation when you need power. Different make will have different ways of implementing. For Mazda, the mild hybrid is mainly for conserving petrol and maximising fuel consumption boosting to 18km/L if you drive conservatively. Whereas for Audi for example, it allows the car to have complete engine stop while you cruise on highway with battery alone. Mild hybrid cars can restart engine in a split second, much faster than conventional engine with start stop
