Thanks for the review! We call this full sized SUV but really in the US, it's just mid-sized... Hahaha... So the third row still isn't a proper seating position for the legs... That's not very good... So must still get an MPV for the last row... 3.5 L not just road tax, the fuel cost will be crazy with today's prices...

Haha yeah for our size is considered full size liao, just like the "mid-size" sedans.

Like for like, the last rows of SUV will never be like the equivalent of a MPV. A van is a van not matter how one try to re-design the body panel. The boxy high platform and roof profile is totally aesthetically different from a SUV.

The last row in the Palisade is already considered very good enough to me by many SUV standards here already. Most can only sit kids.

@Gliazzurra Just test drove the beast of a car - see review. 3.5 V6 brought in. about 200K - for a Hyundai 🤔 Its a luxobarge.

Nice review.. I think this car if using 2.5L turbo perhaps would be a much better proposition.. 200k for Hyundai is not all that shocking as even Santa Fe is already hitting 180k range.. Globally, Hyundai is getting up-market, and they are no longer cheap run off the mill brand, and I'm perfectly fine with that..

Thanks. I think the Palisade is akin to what Tiger Woods had his crash in - top end Genesis SUV

Yeah actually 2.0 L turbo is really the sweet spot in terms of running cost and power output and emissions output... good enough but not too expensive to run and tax...

Hypersonic

I’m sure the Kia Carnival is selling well too.

There’s a lot of rich people in Singapore nowadays.

2L or 2.5L turbo engine should be sufficient.

BMW X5 petrol engine starts from 3L turbo with 450nm torque.

Hyundai Palisade has 2.2L Turbo Diesel

Q7 and xc90? Both has 2.0L turbo petrol engine with about 250bhp and 350nm

diesel is a past. Sg govt doesnt welcome diesel in next few years GG

XC90 don’t have any engine bigger than 2L.
Q7 got 2L due to Audi China.

Hyundai Palisades petrol engine is predominantly for US market.
