Elegance varient has LED auto headlights, auto wipers, smart entry / push start and comes with the full suite of Toyota Safety Sense 2.0.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Automatic High Beam and Blind Spot Monitor.

IMHO, a good deal for extra $6k. 👍

Considering the higher OMV and parf for the elegance model, the extra cost may be much lower than the 6k. Seems to be a pretty good value.

Anyone has gone down to give a field report?

Mz3 Classic n Elegance going for $95k n $102k respectively with $10k VES rebate is more ex than this Altis. Seems a fair price esp if its VES neutral n with 5yrs warranty n service some more👍

They are soft launching the Standard, Elegance and the Hybrid models. No 1.8 in Singapore. Only the 1.6 models available for Standard and Elegance. Prices 93k, 99k and 120k Nett.

120k is insane for B&B model even if its hybrid. BM must be trying to chop carrot head!

If compared with mazda 3, the new altis indeed seems to be a fair price which is about the same as the previous altis pricing. But maybe this is due to soft launch, so pricing would be lower?

The price difference between the lowest and highest hybrid spec can buy a brand new Vios in Malaysia. Borneo Pricing really LOL!!

Anybody knows the reason for the $20K premium over the petrol models, before slamming BM? High OMV? VES?

Considering that the Prius on the same platform and using the same drivetrain is north of $150K, one would think that $120K seemed like a reasonable price, no?

think they also want to test the market, see how many buyers during this launch period. If price gap too far from cars like Kia Cerato, Hyundai Avante, I don't think this will sell.

Hybrids always cost more so the OMV is definitely higher. Till the actual OMV is out, we can’t judge one way or the other whether it’s chop carrot or not. Based on the current Prius n Prius+, the OMV could range from $26k to $30k.

VES likely A2 ie $10k rebate.

BM also need to compete with PI spec Prius (ard 120k) and Sienta Hybrid at 96k+.

If hybrid is 1.8l, there will be price increase of 10k based on today Coe cat B pricing. Whether the other 10k is from omv or profit margin is unknown now.

I think altis would not compared with korean cars, should be comparing with mazda 3 and civic. But the new altis price even lower than mazda 3 classic and elegance. Could be due to the features that mazda 3 that have more than the altis?

I got the price from sgcarmart. That means there is a $6k discount off the list price?

Mazda OMV is higher at $21k+ and $24k+ for classic n elegance models. Margin is still slightly higher for the Mz3 even at $89k n $97k as it has a VES rebate of $10k. I’m comparing against the quoted $22k OMV for Altis selling at $99k.
