Are you referring to the zhi cha on the fourth floor inside the food court? The first stall near entrance selling roast chicken/duck rice?

The chi cha has been on the fourth floor for many years if I can recalled. The second floor only consist of a steam pot buffer and some other restaurants style like eateries. Not chi cha.

Another chi cha is at the taxi booth coffee tiam opposite theme park hotel. Cheap and average taste but good enough to fill up tummy.

I like the mushroom farm zhi cha...

Food generally not nice at Genting Highlands. But now in the new mall got new Malaysian Food Street food court and got many popular chain restaurants so I supposed choices have increased compared with previous.

I tried a couple of stores at the Msia Food Street in Sky Avenue. Priced much higher (as expected) than the original stores and taste-wise CMI.....  I rather eat fast food cos it's more consistent (even if consistently bland)

There are couple of restaurants inside the casino standard quite acceptable. The western and chinese restaurants inside the casino. Beside the international room entrance. Not Ex and food quite ok IMO.

this not bad.

About 6-10 years back I kept bring family to Genting

Reason: cheap

Theme park hotel: One family room per night is $30, sleeps 4 and free breakfast for 2

The brekasfast guys see my kids so small say: kids free!

The annual pass for outdoor theme park I think same price as our zoo day pass haha

Becuase I go Low season, the theme park guys allow my kid to keep sitting the rides, no need to come out and queue again

My eyes blur blur.. I thought you wrote " I kept my family in Genting" ...

wow.. if can keep my "small three" in Genting , I would be visiting Genting every weekend also...heeheehee

Genting has transformed tremendously

Only the Hotel First World seems old.

The rest are heavily going under immerse renovation works.

Now we only need to hope for something big for the outdoor .

As for now, Disney still hesitating / rejecting.

Maybe genting need to stuff more money to disney then can settle liao..I believe so.

Is it still the same with many people smoking inside?

Cos i last went 2 yrs ago and first world plaza filled with full cigarette smell

It seems to me the indoors are restricted from smoking already.

Zero encounter with smokers in the malls and arcades centers and childrens' adventure land

Only happen to see one lady smoking , but she was walking out to the outdoor while I saw her with a cigg in her hand.

I guess there's rule now for no smoking indoor in malaysia.

Good move.

Good move.

To renovate first world will cost a bomb with 6000 rooms lol

But iirc they did refurbished the room abit with newer furniture

Disney wont build one as its against their company policy. Maybe genting will use their own brand theme park.

Good that they restrict smoking indoor. Maybe the casino should follow suit by having a smoking area table

While no smoking indoor, many smokers near the entrance and smoke has seeped into the nearest restaurants.

There's a nice vegetarian restaurant at the temple mid hill. Can reach via the cable car if not driving.

Let's suggest some suitable name for the theme park..

How about .. Mini Mouse Land

Or ..  Meeky Mouse Land

[laugh]

indoor theme park  video

check it out

Kids will love these.

Me much too old and scared😅

Big drop can mean my breakfast, lunch and dinner all revealed. Ferris wheel will take my breath away...no, not that song, its my final breath. Merry-go-round will mean i will walk that way for awhile if i survived it.

Got motion sickness. And jelly legs at certain height. Stomach also will stay in the air defying gravity.

But yes, its a nice place with lots of makan choices and shopping if one not keen at trying one's luck.

Thanks for sharing.

Safe ride

Cheers

How's the 20th century outdoor theme park?  Completely stop work?

Hope to visit Genting soon when the  new theme park is ready.

No sound. Disney doesn't want to continue after they took over 20th century.
