You do realize Ford has cancelled most if not all their sedans models already?

 

Its SUV world these days. Sedans are tough sell worldwide and considered uncool and not versatile also

 

Ford will only carry on the Mustang as the only passenger car in its lineup.

 

We are waiting for the Explorer, Everest to be introduced in sg. Those are real rock tough SUV and not hatchbacks on jacked up suspension. 

 

Too big for our market lah. Most carparks cant even open doors 

 

They still have plug in vehicle i believe. 

Other than Ford in europe, they decided that they will focus purely on america, SUVs and trucks.

If the economy slows down there, good luck to them...

Many Cat A cars that renewed COE for $3K in Mar 2009 will be scrapped this quarter, so COE quote is set to increase.

 

i believe quite some were already scrapped.

The reason is that Ford is in dire financial straits...

 

S*** engineering, which then lead to massive recalls (Powers*** transmission, cars that try to immolate you, crap manufacturing allowing coolant to enter your piston, EcoBOOM, etc). Pretty sure that's not economically sustainable in the long run...
