I heard from the radio, "This car show helps to increase sales by about 30% from normal". Dunno what they exactly mean though

Dealers know very well that no matter how they promo, there are only limited amount of COE, too many booking would mean they are unable to fulfill some of the bookings, worse is they have to sacrifice their margin by bidding higher. They dont like car show, it is the organizers like SPH who want to run car show to make money. Edited January 21, 2019 by Ct3833

I think your prediction might be correct. The quota for this bidding is 1818 and is just after the Motor Show, which is similar to the status of 1st bidding in November with the quota of 1819 and is just after the Car Expo in October.
