Hello, you went to every other threads to post that you are a new member, but other than that you would post comments with only "good " or "great", can you please bother to type a few lines to intro yourself at least ?

Updated my current car.

Lancia Thema was rare. Turbo some more! I din get a chance to try the turbo one. The NA engine was very smooth and powerful enough then.

It shared chasis with the old Saab 9000. Was very quick (155ps was a lot then! ) with a manual box. Lots of space due to its boxy styling. I liked the twin balancer shafts engine. Was very smooth.

Smooth car . ðð

Yes indeed smooth and refined. The most powerful of all the cars I owned and the 3rd most economical, after the Mini and Uno.

Lancia Thema was rare. Turbo some more! I din get a chance to try the turbo one. The NA engine was very smooth and powerful enough then.

The engines of those days were really well-built and smooth, and the Fiat TwinCam engines were a joy to rev.

the car heavy ?

Relative featherweight at 1.3T, same as an Elantra today. Without today's crash protection, safety equipment and accessories, cars of that era were all very light.

Lancia Thema was part of the Type 4 collaboration, the other cars using the same platform were the Fiat Croma, Saab 9000 and Alfa 164. Yes it was spacious and comfortable, smooth and fast. My turbo ie had 185bhp that can be easily bumped up with a simple valve to shut the waste gate. 6.5km/L though. Can't reach KL with 1 tank. Edited by Toeknee_33

Wah pal, you have taken MCF meet up to the next level, by having it at 10,486Km away from Singapore! [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

We did it again!

@bahnstuermer was really kind to drive up from The Hague to take me to a Nasi Lemak/Chicken Rice dinner. The next day, we went to Louwman Museum in The Hague and both of us were wowed by the awesome history and the richness of the car collection there. He then drove back (with a coffee at a wonderful place along the way) to AMS in his red Volvo 240GLT, which was in amazing condition, and looked and rode like new!

Thanks Man!
